It follows the maintenance programme, applies airworthiness directives and manufacturer recommendations, keeps the technical records, and decides when and where the aircraft goes into the workshop.<\/p><\/div>\n      <\/details>\n\n      <details class=\"faq-item\">\n        <summary>What does the \u201c+\u201d in CAMO+ mean?<\/summary>\n        <div class=\"faq-rep\"><p>It is an additional privilege granted by the civil aviation authority to organisations that demonstrate the capability. It allows them to <strong>renew airworthiness review certificates themselves, by annual review<\/strong>, without going through a third-party body.<\/p><p>In practice: fewer intermediaries, fewer administrative delays, and an aircraft that stays available. This privilege is earned through experience and staff qualification; it cannot be bought.<\/p><\/div>\n      <\/details>\n\n      <details class=\"faq-item\">\n        <summary>What is the difference between a CAMO and a maintenance workshop?<\/summary>\n        <div class=\"faq-rep\"><p>The workshop (a Part-145 organisation) carries out the physical work on the aircraft. The CAMO is the thinking head: it defines what must be done, when, to which requirements, and checks that it is correctly performed and documented. The two are complementary and hold separate approvals.<\/p><\/div>\n      <\/details>\n\n      <details class=\"faq-item\">\n        <summary>Do you work on aircraft that are not your own?<\/summary>\n        <div class=\"faq-rep\"><p>Yes. Our organisation provides CAMO activities for our own aircraft, but also for fixed-wing aircraft belonging to other operators across Europe, with support available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.<\/p><\/div>\n      <\/details>\n\n      <details class=\"faq-item\">\n        <summary>How do you limit aircraft downtime?<\/summary>\n        <div class=\"faq-rep\"><p>By anticipating.
