Rather than spreading our teams across varied types, we chose to know everything about one. Our pilots, our engineers and our operations know only Falcon aircraft. That is what allows us to operate our own aircraft and manage those of our clients, under a single Swiss certificate.

The Falcon 8X is a long-range trijet derived from the Falcon 7X, a family we have operated since our beginnings. That three-engine architecture, inherited from the Dassault tradition, offers a margin of safety and the ability to operate from airfields where other aircraft in this category cannot land.
It is an often underestimated point: our aircraft is approved for London City, Lugano and Samedan. Short runways, demanding approaches, mountain environments. Where another long-range aircraft would set you down an hour’s drive from your real destination, the Falcon 8X takes you there.

The quietest cabin in business aviation.
Less than 50 decibels in cruise. The figure sounds abstract; it is not: it is the sound level of a quiet conversation. You speak without raising your voice, you take a call without the other party guessing you are flying, you actually sleep. On a ten-hour flight, that is the difference between arriving exhausted and arriving available.
The cabin stands 1.88 metres high, allowing you to stand upright, and is divided into three zones. The rear zone can be closed off by a door and fitted with a king-size bed. Also on board: a shower, a low cabin altitude that reduces the fatigue of travel, an air humidifier, in-flight WiFi and GSM, and a dedicated in-flight service.
The aircraft carries up to sixteen passengers in day configuration, and offers four single beds or two double beds in night configuration. A medical kit and a defibrillator are carried on every flight.

How far can the Falcon 8X fly non-stop from Geneva?
Le Falcon 8X dispose d’un rayon d’action de 11 945 kilomètres, soit 6 450 milles nautiques. Depuis l’aéroport de Genève, cela couvre sans escale New York, Los Angeles, Dubaï, Tel-Aviv ou encore Tokyo. Le rayon d’action réel dépend du nombre de passagers, du chargement et des conditions météorologiques du jour.
How many passengers can the aircraft carry?
Up to sixteen passengers in day configuration. The cabin comprises four individual leather VIP seats, a four-seat club, a two-person sofa and two three-seat sofas in the rear cabin. In night configuration, the aircraft offers four single beds or two double beds.
Can I travel with a pet?
Yes, subject to prior agreement. We review each request case by case, taking account of the destination and the health regulations applicable on arrival. Let us know when you request the flight, so that we can check the formalities in advance.
Is smoking permitted on board?
Subject to agreement. As the aircraft is used by several clients, this is assessed flight by flight. The request should be made at the time of booking.
Is there really a shower on board?
Yes. The Falcon 8X has a shower, two lavatories and two washbasins. On an overnight long-haul flight, that is what allows you to arrive ready for a meeting, without going via the hotel.
Can I work and stay reachable in flight?
Yes. The aircraft is equipped with in-flight WiFi and GSM, as well as a satellite telephone. Each passenger has an individual screen, and the aircraft is fitted with an Airshow system, DVD and CD players, 230V and 110V sockets and a Jacobucci coffee machine.
Which demanding airports is the aircraft approved for?
Le Falcon 8X est qualifié pour London City, Lugano et Samedan. Ces terrains imposent des pistes courtes ou des approches particulières que peu d’appareils long-courriers peuvent honorer. Il bénéficie également du programme US Visa Waiver et de l’autorisation d’espace aérien canadien.
Does Dasnair own its aircraft, or go through a third party?
We operate our own Falcon 8X, under our Swiss Air Operator Certificate (AOC) issued by the Federal Office of Civil Aviation, and we also manage Falcon aircraft on behalf of their owners. We manage continuing airworthiness in-house, through our approved CAMO+ organisation. You therefore deal directly with the house that operates the aircraft, and not with an intermediary.
