03, CAMO

Maintenance & airworthiness.
The CAMO+ privilege.

We manage and oversee all continuing airworthiness requirements, for our own aircraft and for third-party fleets, across Europe.

We ensure your aircraft remains permanently compliant with civil aviation authority regulations and manufacturer recommendations. We optimise downtime so the aircraft is ready when and where you wish to fly.

Thanks to long experience and qualified staff, Dasnair holds the privilege of an approved CAMO+ organisation : we can renew airworthiness certificates by annual review, without going through a third party.

Our organisation

Compliance, traceability, availability.

  • 01

    Continuing airworthiness management

The CAMO+ privilege allows us to renew airworthiness certificates ourselves. Fewer intermediaries, fewer delays.

  • 03

    Optimised downtime

We plan maintenance to reduce time on the ground and guarantee the availability of the aircraft.

  • 04

    Open to third-party fleets

Frequently asked questions

CAMO, explained simply.

What is a CAMO organisation?

CAMO stands for Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation : the approved body that guarantees an aircraft remains, over time, compliant with its type definition and fit to fly.

A CAMO does not turn the bolts: it steers. It follows the maintenance programme, applies airworthiness directives and manufacturer recommendations, keeps the technical records, and decides when and where the aircraft goes into the workshop.

What does the “+” in CAMO+ mean?

It is an additional privilege granted by the civil aviation authority to organisations that demonstrate the capability. It allows them to renew airworthiness review certificates themselves, by annual review, without going through a third-party body.

In practice: fewer intermediaries, fewer administrative delays, and an aircraft that stays available. This privilege is earned through experience and staff qualification; it cannot be bought.

What is the difference between a CAMO and a maintenance workshop?

The workshop (a Part-145 organisation) carries out the physical work on the aircraft. The CAMO is the thinking head: it defines what must be done, when, to which requirements, and checks that it is correctly performed and documented. The two are complementary and hold separate approvals.

Do you work on aircraft that are not your own?

Yes. Our organisation provides CAMO activities for our own aircraft, but also for fixed-wing aircraft belonging to other operators across Europe, with support available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

How do you limit aircraft downtime?

By anticipating. Planned maintenance costs less, in money and in availability, than a late discovery. We arrange work so that it fits into the quiet periods of your flight programme, so the aircraft is ready when and where you wish to fly.

What experience does your organisation draw on?

Dasnair has operated Dassault Falcon aircraft since 2001 and was the first company in the world to operate the Falcon 7X commercially. Our technical teams have worked on a single aircraft family from the outset. It is that continuity, more than any statement, that underpins our CAMO+ approval.
